Second quarter of 2011 Euro area GDP GDP up by 0.2% +1.6% compared with the second quarter of 2010

GDP increased by 0.2% in both the euro area and the EU during the second quarter of 2011, compared with the previous quarter. In the first quarter of 2011, growth rates were +0.8% in the euro area and +0.7% in the EU27.
