3rd call for proposals: some preliminary statistics

We would like to inform you that, in the framework of the third call for proposals, the following data are now available. 46 Expressions of Interest (EoI) have been submitted to the JTS, out of which 44 EoIs have been submitted until the set deadline. All valid EOIs are now being assessed. The decision regarding their approval will be taken by the Monitoring Committee of the SEE Programme which will take place in Skopje on 12-13 September.

SEE Programme to participate in the Croatian Days of Regional Development

The Ministry of Regional Development, Forestry and Water Management is organizing, from 23 - 25 May 2011 in Šibenik, Croatia, the Days of the Regional Development. The purpose of this event is to promote the importance of regional development in the Republic of Croatia, in a broader context of the Republic of Croatia's rapprochement with the EU. One of the objectives is to encourage local communities to prepare projects that could be financed from EU funds, by highlighting positive examples of the use of EU funds based on the experience from EU Member States and Croatia itself.

Regions celebrate Europe Day

Many EU regions will be celebrating Europe Day on 9 May. Europe Day marks the declaration made by French Foreign Minister Robert Schuman in 1950 calling on France, Germany and other European countries to pool their coal and steel production. The Schuman Declaration launched the process of European integration that lies behind today's European Union.You can find a few examples of the many activities that will be taking place across Europe to highlight the positive impact of EU regional funding on the Info Regio website.
